From beginning to end, this is an absolutely beautiful collection of songs. No it’s not of the usual stoner rock flair, but beyond that and still at times in the same vein. These aren’t songs that seem to be bred from heavy distorted rock, but from something older and at times from a place beyond rock. This CD is essential to anyone who loves the bands that are talked and written about on this site because it fuels the argument that the people who visit here can’t be pigeon-holed.
